The mark is the argument.
One continuous line from root to last petal — the junction hidden beneath the disc. The stem never moves; it’s planted. The head rotates on the sun. Yellow #E8C000 is the only colour, ever, and it is always earned.
Democracy is messy — a line that crosses itself, doubles back, never quite closes. But when it works, it’s beautiful.
The movement
The mark carries three states. Idle sways like a flower in wind; loading spins like a pinwheel; success blooms. All motion respects prefers-reduced-motion.
The citizen
One small unbroken teardrop, open at the top — potential, not completion. A dormant seed is line only; when a citizen acts, it fills. The colour is earned, never decorative.
Democracy made beautiful
Every civic action plants a flower. Over time, participation becomes a field — thousands of independent citizens, one shared orientation. This is the language of cultivation, not compliance.
What never changes
Every glyph is a single continuous stroke. It may cross itself — proof the hand moved without hesitation. It never closes completely; nothing here is finished. Round caps, always.
#E8C000 — and it always means something: the sun in the flower, activation in the seed. Never decorative. Earned. It is only ever a filled shape, a ≥3px accent, or text on ink.
The stem never moves — it’s planted. All rotation happens at the disc center: transform-origin 50px 40px. The head turns on the sun. Both line-ends hide beneath the disc, so the line reads whole at every angle.
Petals are implied, not drawn. The eye completes the flower. What’s not drawn is as deliberate as what is — the unseen that needs to be seen.
The work of the people.
